Last week the family and I decided to take a little drive down south and visit some of our sea buddies at SeaWorld. San Diego is always a favorite quick getaway for us, we sometimes like to stay for the weekend but for our visit this time around we chose to drive back home after our visit to SeaWorld.
The day of our visit was the first night of their SeaWorld Christmas Celebration. The park is celebrating the season by having all new Holiday themed shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The park is all set up with it's Christmas decoration and all the new shows gets you in the mood for the holiday season. A favorite of mine would be the Dolphin Island Christmas, complete with an Island Christmas soundtrack, that'll make you want to take a quick Island Getaway for the holidays.
An added bonus for our weekday visit was not having to deal with too much crowd. Our little one, Dale was able to get on each ride at the Sesame Street Bay of Play area multiple times with very little wait times.
During the evening events, we were able to watch the all new Winter Wonderland on Ice show held at the Nautilus Amphitheater. Any seats in the theater has a great view of this live show and is entertaining for the entire family.
A must see during our visit was the Sesame Street Christmas Village where we were able to meet some of our favorite friends from Sesame Street, and just across from the village is Santa's Cottage where you can find Mrs. Clause and ask for a photo on your way to see Santa.
There is also Rudolph's ChristmasTown where you can meet Rudolph and his friends.
SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration runs from November 23rd, 2019 through January 5th, 2020. To check out holiday ticket promotions please visit SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO
