During Spring and Summer, the resort hosts kid-friendly activities all over the property. There are s’mores roasting at the fire pits before the dive in movies start at the pool. The dive-in movies are kid-friendly and they vary from day to day you can enjoy a different movie every day of the weekend. Dive in movies and s’mores are hosted at the Sheraton next door, which all Westin guests have access to during their stay. The Sheraton pool is one of the best places to be during the summer. The beach-entry pool is perfect for toddlers to wade in, while the waterslide is a favorite for kids. Meanwhile, at The Westin, the pool is spacious and shallow, which is perfect for kids. There is also a pool table, ping pong table, and corn hole for kids to play when they are not cooling off in the pool.

The food options for kids are healthier and tastier than at many other hotels. If the menu at The Westin’s signature restaurant, 20|Twenty, is too sophisticated for your little one, there is the option of choosing from the kid’s menu instead. The kid’s menu features favorites like chicken fingers and spaghetti, but you can also opt for more unique choices like salmon with soba noodles and turkey panini. The in-room dining menu also caters to kids and features an entire page of delicious and nutritious kid-approved staples.
The Westin’s kid-friendliness truly shows during the Holidays. The Westin hosts three nights of Christmas fun in December called Holiday Nights. Both resorts host a range of activities for kids like cookie decorating, ornament painting, and letters to Santa. The trolley, which runs between The Westin and Sheraton, turns into the Holly Trolley and gets decked out in Christmas lights. The resorts feature live music and entertainment throughout the three days. This year will feature a snow sledding hill with real snow. However, the main event is the arrival of Santa on the last day where kids can meet and take pictures with him. New Year’s Eve is just as exciting for the whole family. The resort hosts an annual party featuring a buffet, DJ, dance floor, and a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. Kids and teens are able to enjoy an extensive amount of activities like an arcade room, movie room, pool tables, ping pong, board games, face painting, arts and crafts, and a kids club complete with a dance floor and balloon drop.
