I am so excited to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Mari-Anne De Castro, your new Macaroni Kid Publisher for Downey- Lynwood - South Gate and it's surrounding area. I grew up in Glendale, CA but have established new roots in Bellflower, Ca the last 3 years. Living here in this community this last few years I always wanted to makes sure I was current with all things Family Kid Friendly activities to do with my son and our entire family. I was a Macaroni Kid Subscriber for many years and have always made sure I checked the weekly calendar for the free events in my community before I decided I too wanted to help families finding out great events in this area. Fast forward a few years and here we are. Now I get to bring you the 411 on all the kids and family events in our community! I couldn't be more excited to do it.
A little bit more about me and my family. My boyfriend and I have a 3 year old son who will be turning 4 this summer ( which means Birthday planning is in effect).
We enjoy going to theme parks that are close to our area, so you can bet will be in one of the parks usually during one of our free weekends. We love to eat, go to museums and explore what Southern California has for us to offer. We try to go on family road trips when we can to experience whats beyond our city limits as well.
I am preschool teacher and Arts and Crafts are definitely my forte and can't wait to share with you all the fun Pinterest idea that I will share through articles and videos.
